Holiday Collection Schedules

Republic Services trash and recycling collections will be suspended on the following five holidays: Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. 

Independence Day - Saturday, July 4, 2020


Residential collections will not be affected. Commercial collections suspended.
  • Commercial make up day: Monday, July 6.

Labor Day - Monday, September 7, 2020 


Residential and commercial collections suspended
  • Residential collections will be delayed by one day. Monday collections will be on Tuesday, September 8, and Tuesday collections will occur on Wednesday, September 9. Regular schedule will resume on Thursday.
  • Commercial make up day: Tuesday, September 8, and Wednesday, September 9.

Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 26, 2020

 
Residential and commercial collections suspended.
  • Residential collections will be delayed by one day. Thursday will be collected on Friday, November 27, and Friday collection will occur on Saturday, November 28. Regular schedule will resume on Monday.
  • Commercial make up day: Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28.

Christmas Day - Friday, December 25, 2020 


Residential and commercial collections suspended.
  • Residential collections will be delayed by one day. Friday collections will be on Saturday, December 26.
  • Commercial make up day: Saturday, December 26. 

New Year's Day - Friday, January 1, 2021 


Residential and commercial collections suspended.
  • Residential collections will be delayed by one day. Friday collections will be on Saturday, January 2.
  • Commercial make up day: Saturday, January 2.

Holidays with Regular Collection Schedules


The following holidays observed by the City of Southlake will not affect trash and recycling services:
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
  • Christmas Eve
Please note that any additional holidays not listed above will not impact trash or recycling services.
