This project is a partnership with Tarrant County and involves the rehabilitation of the City's arterial streets. It consists of the major repair and/or rehabilitation of local streets throughout the City of Southlake to improve pavement condition and rideability after the completion of neighborhood utility projects. One third of the City’s streets are surveyed annually.
Rehab Projects for 2016:
Portions of Shady Oaks Drive from Bicentennial Park. City crews will be starting work in mid- June. Crews plan on working from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday to minimize the impact on motorists.
The roads will be left open to traffic with flaggers directing drivers, however, commuters can expect delays. The project is anticipated to be complete in time for school to resume late August 2016.
Budget: $300,000 per year
