Our goal is to make your volunteer experience with us as rewarding as possible. We have many year-round and seasonal opportunities from which you can choose.

Southlake Public Library

The Southlake Public Library provides a wonderful assortment of services and events for Southlake Residents. Join our Library Staff in maintaining current materials and assisting with various special projects/events throughout the year.

Teen Court Volunteers

Metroport Teen Court

Teen Court is a "hands on" educational opportunity which allows teen offenders and teen volunteers to better understand the justice system. We accept both teen and adult volunteers to serve in various roles including Jurors, Attorneys, Trial & Deliberation Monitors, and light Clerical Assistants.

Southlake Town Hall

Our Town Hall provides a variety of services to the community and volunteers are a welcomed addition to our team. Common volunteer opportunities include: On-Call Secretaries, Volunteer Newsletter Journalists, Internships, General Office Assistants, and Special Projects.

Southlake Senior Center

Our seniors have a busy calendar full of opportunities for volunteers to get involved. The most popular ways to serve include: Monday Luncheons, The Cafe, Senior Dances, and Special Events. Great listening ears are also highly treasured.

Department of Public Safety Headquarters

Police and Fire Departments

The Police and Fire Departments offer adult volunteer programs that include:
Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS), Fire Rehab and Citizens on Patrol (COP).  
Members must complete the Southlake Citizens Academy class prior to becoming a member of any of these service programs.

Special Events
The City hosts many special events during the year, including Sweetheart Dance, Easter in the Park, Stars & Stripes, Movies at the Marq, Home for the Holidays and many more. Volunteers are critical to the success of each of these events.

Camp Mania

Our Community Services department hosts Camp Mania during the Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter breaks. Camp Mania volunteers assist with daily activities while interacting and monitoring the kids attending camp. This is a great opportunity for volunteers who are enthusiastic and enjoy working with kids.

Champions Club at The Marq

Our Marq Attendants assist facility staff with a variety of tasks, such as monitoring the indoor playground, greeting guests, preparing for birthday parties, assisting on the fitness floor, helping with child watch, assisting with swim lessons, preparing for private rentals, assisting with administrative tasks, and much more!
