The Southlake Public Library provides a wonderful assortment of services and events for Southlake Residents. Join our Library Staff in maintaining current materials, and assisting with various special projects/events throughout the year.

RSVP for October 3rd Teen Court Attorney Training
Teen Court is a "hands on" educational opportunity which allows teen offenders and teen volunteers to better understand the justice system. We accept both teen and adult volunteers to serve in various roles including Jurors, Attorneys, Trial & Deliberation Monitors, and light Clerical Assistants.

Our Town Hall provides a variety of services to the community and volunteers are a welcomed addition to our team. Common volunteers opportunities include: On-Call Secretaries, Volunteer Newsletter Journalists, Internships, General Office Assistants, and Special Projects.

Our seniors have a busy calendar full of opportunities for volunteers to get involved. The most popular ways to serve include: Monday Luncheons, The Cafe, Senior Dances, and Special Events. Great listening ears are also highly treasured.

Departments of Public Safety


DPS has numerous volunteer opportunities available in a variety of areas that include: Volunteers in Policing (VIPS), Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Fire Rehab, Crud Cruiser, and Citizens On Patrol (COPS). All volunteers must attend the 13 week Citizens Academy training prior to serving.

Volunteer Southlake currently offers a Musician volunteer program that gives young talent the opportunity to gain valuable performance experience while sharing the gift of music with the community. Opportunities are available in the Library and during some Special Events.
