In June 2015 City Council approved a Site Plan for Granite Place, a six story office building and four story parking garage structure. If you have driven along State or Reserve Street in Southlake Town Square you may have noticed the progress made at this site. Granite Properties has been given permission from the Southlake Hilton to mount a time-lapse camera on the hotel to capture the progress of the construction project. Park Village, a 196,000 square foot retail and restaurant development recently unveiled their approximately 3,600 square foot fountain feature prominently located at the corner of E. Southlake Blvd. and S. Carroll Ave. Some of the existing tenants include Beauty Brands, Michaels Arts and Crafts, REI, and Sur La Table. Park Village has planned their grand opening event for Saturday, April 16.
TD Ameritrade recently submitted a proposed Site Plan application to the City’s Planning and Development Services Department. The submittal provides details for a proposed 355,000 square foot, three-story main building (total floor area including basement), along with a five level parking garage. The project is located between SH 114 and W. Kirkwood Blvd. on an approximately 78-acre lot addressed at 1051 W. Kirkwood Blvd.
February 3, 2016 the Southlake 2035 Corridor Planning Committee held a meeting on the project. On February 9, 2016, TD Ameritrade held a SPIN Town Hall Forum at Southlake Town Hall. On February 19, 2016 a joint City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission work session was held regarding the project. Click here to view the Work Session item via Video On Demand. Cambria Hotel (Kimball Park):
City Council originally approved a Concept Plan and Site Plan for Kimball Park located near N. Kimball Ave. and SH 114 in February 2014. This project includes the Cambria Hotel and Suites as well as an office building, restaurant, coffee shop, retail uses, and one open space lot. Construction is underway for the Cambria Hotel portion of the development now, and construction on the office is expected to begin soon.

In September 2014 City Council approved a Site Plan for HarborChase of Southlake for a senior assisted living facility. The request and approval was for 92 assisted living units and 30 memory care units on approximately 13.78 acres. The three-story building will have a gross floor area of approximately 128,600 square feet. Construction has begun at the site generally located north of SH 114 and E. Highland St. and west of future Kirkwood Blvd. Below is a rendering for HarborChase.
