He was in chess club from K-6 and played in chess tournaments. He ran chess clubs at an elementary school and a middle school and started a chess club at Baylor and now plays chess casually. Chris is passionate about teaching kids to play chess because it's an excellent mental exercise, it's fun, and it's a great way to teach them good sportsmanship. Registration Required.

Book Summary: As the daughter of a Dutch postman and his German wife, five-year-old Meta finds her life totally changed when World War II begins. Protect Southlake

  1. Crud Cruiser

    June 17th 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or until full. Due to being able to only do one mobile collection event it is likely that the Crud Cruiser will fill up prior to the end of the event. Once the Crud Cruiser has reached capacity no other household hazardous waste will be collected. The Crud Cruiser is now only held once per year. All Southlake residents, with proof of residency, are able to drop their items off at the Fort Worth Environmental Collection Center located at 6400 Bridge Street.
